Very good, only with reservation. Great owner and cook. Small, fine menu. Steak 1a. Veal dumplings, chestnut soup, everything was great. In winter only 5 tables.

MoreIt is beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and decorations. The ingredients for the dishes are also very fresh. It has a very nice atmosphere, especially in summer when you can sit outside. The menu is seasonally designed and always offers good variety.

MoreFirst of all the positive points: the atmosphere is very nice, natural stone walls, cozy lighting, fresh flowers on the table. The condition was friendly. Everything else was unfortunately not good. We had reserved a table for 6:30 p.m. After over an hour the greeting came from the kitchen. After 1 hour and 30 minutes the starter, after 2 hours the main course and with 2 children. The reason for this was "we make everything fresh ..." Then I expect to be informed when we take a seat in the restaurant. Then we would have left the restaurant again. The food was unfortunately only very mediocre. The fish salad was apparently served from the glass on the plate. Pickled seafood - really not good and for over € 15. The side salad for 4 € only green salad and far too much vinegar. The goat cheese was very strict - almost not edible and at € 12.90. The skin dishes unfortunately not better either. A rump steak (medium) was only a little longer on one side and almost not fried on the other side and served bloody. The boar sausage was cut crosswise over the entire length, which resulted in all the fat running out and the sausage being dry and seasoned - price over 16 €. The spaghetti with prawns over 15 € were cooked too long so almost mushy and the taste really wasn't good. The beef cheeks were ok but the spaetzle was absolutely tasteless. To sum up, long waiting times without being communicated and dishes that are significantly overpriced for this quality. Unfortunately, really no recommendation for this restaurant.
MoreA real insider tip in the rather manageable Birkenhördt. Small but very fine, very cordial operators and great quality of food and drinks. Then also dog-friendly, we will be back.

Very nice and cozy location. Staff very nice. We discovered the restaurant by accident and have been coming here ever since. The food is great and the price / performance ratio absolutely OK. The wait is a bit longer but also ok, since all dishes are freshly prepared. I am already looking forward to our next visit
MoreUnfortunately we were very unlucky on Pentecost Sunday ... we had reservations for six people and, although only one other table was occupied, we had to wait almost two hours for our meal. The food was for the most part very overpriced, tasted average and the wine prices were outrageous. The service was unfriendly and seemed very listless. When we asked why it was taking so long, the snippy answer came that the chef only had four plates to cook on. I have to mention that there are only 4 seating groups in the restaurant and almost eight in the garden, but all but one table were unoccupied ... when we left the restaurant around ten o'clock, we noticed that there were a lot in the surrounding restaurants it was only going on in the Fleur there was nobody ... we weren't surprised ... never, never again !!
